This position is responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of various providers and multi-specialty medical offices; developing policies and procedures, and/or programs & processes to improve or enhance the quality, efficiency & effectiveness & provide training to various levels of staff on general day-to-day clinical operations including technical training on electronic medical records systems (EMR).
Degree in a clinical field (e.g. nursing, medicine, pharmacy) highly preferred. 5+ years' working in a clinical environment, preferably a provider office or multi-specialty medical group, with 2+ years in a supervisory role. Experience in quality management and clinical outcomes measurement and the use of process improvement principals to streamline specific work processes, preferred. Knowledge of professional coding, billing, collections and appropriate clinical documentation; third party payers (PPO, POS, managed care, Medicare, Medicaid, pre-authorization, pre-certification, workmen's comp, etc.) Experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirements.
